About

Beth is a critically acclaimed, award-winning, actor, with national and regional theatre, global RSC, BBC, and ITV credits to her name, over the last 20 years she has worked tirelessly within an industry she adores to become an established comedian, actor, director and educator  – sharing her wealth of experience to help educate and encourage those with her shared passion for performance.

A real turning point for Beth was her breast cancer diagnosis at age 28. When life throws you such a horrendous curveball you tend to have to react, reassess, and ultimately change your path. It was from this point that she started writing and performing comedy – and she hasn’t looked back.

She went on to create several critically acclaimed Edinburgh Shows, all with transfers to Soho Theatre, Latitude Festival, and New Zealand Comedy Festival. She also performed a national tour with her show As Funny As Cancer and she now has a project in development with Merman Productions based on this show and her experiences through cancer.

Alongside and throughout all of this she has directed and mentored people. She has always felt it is important to encourage others to perform, especially people from backgrounds which are not privileged, helping them find their true voice and share it with others.
